Just a little information on Chris Batson so you will know what knowledge and experience you will have to draw from.
Chris started bowling in 1964 with the old rubber bowling balls and lacquer lane surfaces over that period of time he won quiet a few tournaments like the 1974 South Pacific Classic and then represented Australia in the World Cup where he finished 4th, he continued on through the seventies winning the South Pacific again in 1979 and finished 3rd in the World Cup.
When the lane surfaces changed to urethane and softer plastic bowling balls in 1980 he changed his game to match and dominated the sport for a few years playing the gutter. In 1982 to 1984 he spent 2 years coaching in Indonesia as national coach.
He returned to Australia where he won again and represented Australia in the World Cup, also in the eighties he represented Australia in the first World Games where he won a gold and silver medal.
In the late eighties early nineties when the balls changed to reactive he changed again and keep on winning.
He spent most of the early 2002 to 2006 in Malaysia as youth development coach and national coach where he directed them to many firsts.
He has represented Australia on fifteen occasions and spent about 10 years of his life in other countries involved in bowling.

He was Bowling Center manager of the year in 1987.
He has written coaching and Pro-Shop manuals and even computer programs on bowling ball balance and measuring which which were endorsed by Dick Ritger.
Brunswick produced a bowling ball in the eighties with his name on it for the Australian market.
He was enducted into the Australian Tenpin Bowling hall of fame in the year 2000.
